The new 118,000 square foot LEED rated federal building in Jefferson City will house courtrooms, chambers, bankruptcy chamber, the U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Attorney, Probation, and Pretrial Services. There will also be space for GSA and local congressional offices. BGR Consulting Engineers were the MEP engineers and designed the HVAC, plumbing, power and lighting systems for the entire facility. Although the building is a completely new facility it is an example of BGR Engineer's ability to design to the extensive guidelines of several federal entities all coordinated with a very large design team. Total project cost is approximately $71,000,000.
