Over half of our work involves a typical office buildout. However, at BGR Consulting Engineers our tenant improvements projects aren’t typical to us. We are aware that the quality of a person’s work environment has a direct relationship to productivity. As a result we practice engineering that considers the appeasement of the office worker which, ultimately makes for a better overall workplace. Items such as indirect lighting, day lighting, zoned temperature controls and proper indoor air quality are specified to aid us in this effort. Although these ideas are not necessarily innovative or expensive they add immeasurable value to a project.
